Joe’s journey to Las Vegas started in Hawaii, lingered in New Zealand, and slowed down in Utah (among a few other places), before reaching Nevada, where he and his family have lived since 2008. His work life has taken similar turns, with brief stints in fast food, hospitality, and government, before an intriguing article and fortuitous timing introduced him to the world of forensic accounting, business valuation, and economic damage calculation services.
After providing these services in both litigation and non-litigation settings for the past 20 years, he’s come to know a lot about these practice areas (see here for various examples). Since he’s often designated as an expert witness, he firmly believes that the profession as a whole is enhanced when an expert’s opinion is founded in objectivity and competence. As such, he welcomes opportunities to speak and work with those who are interested in pursuing a career in this profession.
